Each is a case on a national legislature unwarrantedly and illegitimately arrogated to the national government an exclusive and absolute right to govern an unrepresented minority of the nation, without their consent. Our Revolution was based on the fundamental first principle of Consent of the Governed, and then in the next twenty years we violate this principle egregiously in setting up the new nation’s capital? What gives???
